10 annoying things being a cyclist

1. Agressive Motorists: Enough said

2. The media reporting 'Cyclist' as a negative: Recently in the news we heard about a 'cyclist' who knocked over and killed a man unpacking his car before going on holiday. This is a prime example of what I mean - why not report the person who happened to be riding a bike as 'a person' or 'Joe Blogs' etc...

3. Cleaning bikes: Say no more. Dust and mud are bad enough but oil, grease and brake block sludge are just the worst

4. Punctures: Especially on the way to work (in the mornings and during winter)

5. Cycling Weekly photos: I can't remember ever reading Cycling Weekly where Dan Duguid isn't pictured riding his bike or lifting free weights. (Nothing personal Dan)

6. Bad cycling website designs: Don't think you'll be able to recall any cycling-related websites that actually look beautiful and very user-friendly? [Good: bikeradar.com and cyclingnews.com] [Bad: the rest]

7. Mouthy people: Ever been in a race and a loud mouth comes up to you and starts shouting for no reason? I can think of a few...

8. Ugly cycling kit: Lets just say that there are some garish designs out there. Can you name any? [Pink stink]

9. Over pricing: I can think of a few shops guilty of high retail prices just because they are a major industry player

10. Wet roads: Give me dark, cold and perhaps even dangerous roads, but when its wet it's nasty.
